POI Alert — Proximity alerts for your saved locations

POI Alert notifies you when you are close to places that matter to you automatically, without opening the app or checking a map.

Save any location as a Point of Interest, set an alert radius (or use the app default), and walk, bike or drive. When your device enters the radius, you get a notification with the place name, an option description and distance.

In the alert screen that appears you can choose the details of the point of interest to be read to you or navigate to it.

Alert overlay — A full-screen card appears the moment you enter a POI's radius — name, distance, and a one-tap navigation button. Works in the background with the screen off.

Map view with POI pins — All your saved locations on an interactive map. Tap any pin to see details, adjust the radius, or start navigation.

POI list view — Browse your saved locations with live distances. See alert status and visit counts at a glance.

Edit POI details — Set a custom alert radius per location, or let the app adapt automatically. Also configure per-POI visit tracking independently of alerts.

Auto alert radius adapts to your speed — Auto radius mode widens at highway speeds and tightens when you slow down, so you always get the heads-up at the right moment.

Organize POIs into lists — Group locations into named, color-coded lists. Enable or disable alerts for an entire group at once.

Filter map by list — Focus the map on a single list to cut through clutter when you have many saved locations.

Filter POI list by list — The same filter works in list view — quickly find locations in a specific category.

Visit history for a saved location — POI Alert silently detects when you spend time near a saved location and records the visit automatically, including first and last visited dates.

App settings — Control alert radius defaults, spoken alerts, visit tracking, and more from a single screen.

🔊 Spoken alerts — have the POI name and distance read aloud when an alert fires, useful when your phone is mounted out of reach.
📥 Import & export — import from a CSV compatible with Google Maps exports, or export your full list to back it up or share it.
🌐 Wikipedia integration — attach a Wikipedia summary and photo to any POI for quick context when you arrive.
🔍 Place search — search for any address, business, or landmark directly in the app.
